Lame Duck Session Passes New Law in New Jersey Requiring Palimony Agreements To Be In Writing

Minutes before his term as Governor of New Jersey expired last night, Jon Corzine signed off on a bill making New Jersey palimony agreements enforceable only if a couple agree in writing. The legislation takes effect immediately.    Assembly Bill 2796
